Tumanhofers are one of the High Races. They are short, stout, powerful fighters, but they prefer to use the power of their intellect over the power of strength. As a rule, tumanhofers have extremely long names, but give their cities relatively short ones. They are shorter and more rotund; "diggers" by nature, once finished building their cities, they dig in whatever subject interests them: ie. agriculture or literature. They are naturaly good fighters but prefer to use their intelagent minds. Their capital city of Dael is known for its universities. Two popular, recurring tumanhofers are Taylaminkadot and Librettowit.
